Outreach and Relation Lead
Laila Majidi is an educator and youth advocate who leads communications at Morning Team. She connects Afghan students with mentors, guest speakers, ensuring that the team’s webinars and initiatives bring meaningful guidance and inspiration.
Laila studied Social Work at Kabul University where she grew strong interest in supporting children and communities facing difficult circumstances. She also taught with Save the Children, providing Mathematics, Dari, and life‑skills education to girls with limited access to formal schooling.
Her commitment to education grew from her own experience overcoming barriers as a young woman determined to learn. Even after the closure of universities for women in Afghanistan, she continued her pursuit of education and service. She is now continuing her studies in Malaysia, preparing to specialize in Business Administration and Management.
Within Morning Team, Laila plays a central role in communications — identifying mentors, inviting guest speakers, and building networks that guide Afghan students through webinars and educational initiatives. Her resilience and vision drive her ongoing dedication to girls’ education, youth empowerment, and creating opportunities for Afghan youth to thrive.
