Following Morning Team's previous sessions on the UWC application process and the UWC journey, we are organizing a practical guidance session for students applying for UWC 2027.
The session will focus on key parts of the Application, particularly the essays, application video, and the experiences and ideas applicants choose to share in their responses. Together, we will discuss how to approach these components and prepare them more effectively.
Joining the session will be Zahra Tokhi (UWC USA 2024–2026) and Huma Usyan (UWC USA 2022–2024), two UWC scholarship recipients who have successfully gone through the selection process. They will share insights from their own application experiences, the challenges they faced, and the lessons they learned along the way.
The discussion will mainly focus on questions such as:
• How should you approach different application questions and essays?
• What experiences and topics should you consider sharing in your responses?
• How can you write responses that genuinely reflect your experiences, personality, and way of thinking?
• How should you prepare for the Application Video?
• What common mistakes should applicants avoid?
• What should you review before submitting your application?
• Q&A
